Another car thread my car not starting

Well I was thinking my old 92 maxima would last til summer but it looks like I have to go car shopping in the rain today. Lights come on but when the key turns, nothing, not even a click. Waiting for wife to come back from school with jumper cables, gonna try that, if that does not work does that mean its the starter? I just bought $19 winshield wipers 2 days ago to. Bummer, car shopping in the rain does not sound fun.

Could be ignition switch, or solenoid. Neither is expensive.

Don't buy a new car because of a small starting problem. You can't sell it in that condition anyway, so it will have to be fixed even if you do eventually.
