All this job creator stuff is complete bullshit.

The real job creators are the middle class. Without people buying your crap no hiring is done. Demand is the real job creation catalyst. Without the middle class you don't have demand.

So how can you say Obama hasnt created jobs if you admit that he isnt physically capable of that?
Because... Hate-um Obama! Hate-um!

Wynn's just hoping to make the govt's corrupt practices investigation of his organization go away, and I'm confident that Mitt would make that happen... quid pro quo is the way of Republicans, after all...

He's skeered of the Obama Admin, I'm sure, but not for the bullshit reasons he spouts, at all.

Good old Steve must protect the job creators Wynn! You fragile, fragile dwindling class needs protection from the evil Obama and his "goofy ideas" and "crazy anti-business programs" LMFAO

"I can't stand the idea of being demagogued; that is, put down, by a president who's never created any jobs and who doesn't even understand how the economy works."I'm afraid of [another term for] President Obama. I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy anti-business program [his] administration will come up with. I have no idea. And, I have to tell you John, that every business guy around the country is frightened of [President] Barack Obama and the way he thinks."

Sounds like some very specific and valid concerns there... This is serious business!

Steve Wynn Rejoins Cacophony Of Whining Billionaires Who Say They Fear Obama’s ‘Anti-Business’ Policies

"Steve Wynn, Vegas tycoon, has gone on record in the past sowing vague fears about Obama’s alleged penchant for socialism and dislike for business, making statements indicating that business owners are not privy to what Obama “might” do if re-elected that could possibly harm their businesses.

Steve Wynn has always referred to himself as a “job creator,” downplaying the times he was a “job destroyer” in years even when turning a massive profit. And, ahead of the election, Wynn has joined the Greek chorus of supposedly terrified CEOs threatening workers and customers with dire circumstances should President Obama be re-elected.

(Which is always a tactic good sportsman use, threats and intimidation. Class it up, Steve!)

Despite having a profitable several years in Vegas under Obama’s allegedly socialist reign, Wynn still feels the need to coerce frightened casino workers into voting for a candidate that will ensure any gains made in areas like employee medical coverage through ACTA will be erased, ostensibly reasoning that people would rather have bad jobs than no jobs at all.

In an interview with Vegas journalist Jon Ralston, Wynn whined:

“I’m afraid of the president. I have no idea what goofy idea, what crazy, anti-business program this administration will come up with … Every business guy I know in the country is frightened of Barack Obama and the way he thinks.”

It’s probably no surprise that Steve Wynn is as impressed with Mitt Romney as he is disenchanted with Barack Obama, and the business magnate gushed:

“He is absolutely going to be a fabulous president … He’s never been unsuccessful in anything he tried.”

While Obama detractors like Steve Wynn often point to bogeyman policies they believe Obama will use to kill their businesses, few ever cite specifics when complaining that they have to hoard profits and cut back on labor costs."

Sounds like he's cut from the same cloth as that David Seigel asshole...

Yep, keep threatening American's and see how that works out for ya in November!

Slap that fuck right back on you Steve and David. Thanks for showing everyone your hands. We can add you to the ever growing list of lying sacks of shit FUD peddlers...

And eight years of bigtime businessmen Bush and Cheney implementing disasterous trickle down supply-side voodoo economics, lowering of taxes for the uber rich "job creators" so they can create more jobs (lol), deregulating the corporate crooks and banksters for obscene profits at the top, starting never ending profiteering wars on loans from China, letting the backroom lobbyists call all the shots and waging war on the middle class and poor REALLY proved beyond a shadow of doubt that the Repubs were right all along and that we possibly need eight more years of it?

What manner of mental illness is this?

We have eight years of historical fact that proved the ideology that fueled the Bush/Cheney era was an utter and complete failure. Why is it that this history is not only being completely ignored, it is being resurrected by Romney and Ryan as being the cure for what helped cause the major economic meltdown we are still feeling the effects of in the first place? Is this some sort of twisted logic that somehow wants to mimic the principles of vaccine immunization or what? lol

I don't mean to ask the obvious question, but why does a casino mogul necessarily know how to run the economy for the entire country? If I need to know how to build giant buildings on the strip with my name on them, he's definitely at the top of the list of the guys I'd call...but does he honestly have more understanding of running the country than the average guy on the street?

Yes, yes he does. If you've ever been in business the fundamentals are always the same. His examples of give and take to reach a win/win seem to fall of deaf communist motherfucker ears.

Do you understand what construction is and how many jobs it creates? Sure he's specialized in his locale but the principles remain the same.

This is a prime example of "yes, I built that". As in, he built it.

Fuck you communists, fuck you all. America will WIN despite you and obama.

Bullshit. Without people who can designer, organize, and execute the making of said crap there is no crap. Lol, by crap I'm talking about stuff that may not necessarily be crap. Anyway, the people that make the stuff are the ones that really drive the economy. The making of stuff IS an economy. Money isn't wealth. Items with a use are wealth.

People don't make crap for the purpose of making crap (well they don't do it in large quantities).
Without buyers there is no business and therefore there are no profits.

Sorry, but I don't think the economy of the United States is basically a bigger version of building a casino in Vegas. It doesn't take a communist to say so, just someone who's actually given it some thought. Wynn may understand how to run a specific, single business (with his job creating construction work), but that doesn't mean he understands the economy as a whole.

And it DEFINITELY doesn't mean he understands how to create a robust consumer base. As far as people like Wynn are concerned, the customer base just exists, their only job is to get the customers to patronize THEIR business and not the Mandalay Bay. Occasionally they may try to create new markets, but again the customer base isn't something they actively create...they just tap into it.

And that has typically been the problem with Republican economic theory. Whine about "communists" as much as you want, but the top down approach doesn't work all by itself. And doubling down at worshiping the folks at the top like Wynn isn't going to help. Wynn understands how to build a great casino (one of the nicer ones on the strip, IMO) and get you in the door and spending money, but he knows even less than the average Joe about how you got to the point where you can afford to do so. He knows how to build a business, not an economy.

Folks like Wynn are a key part of our economy, but treating them as the be-all end-all is stupid.

He creates a business environment where it is not conducive for businesses to grow. When businesses grow they need more people.

Unlike that actual "job creation" obama has engaged in which is giving campaign donors who happen to be large donors large federal loans in failing businesses or obamaphone contracts.

I do think others were also referring to the fact that prior to being a senator, obama had no experience as a leader such as you would find in an ex-governor or someone who ran a business.
