Apparently thats exactly the title of this article of a Hatian boy that was allegedly killed by a bandit in Haiti.

The arm extension here to make this relevant to local US news is obvious and honestly, dumbfounding. Wish I could revoke someone's ability to post on the internet.

Anyway, I suppose news agencies have been doing this type of reporting for centuries.

oh, there is a disclaimer, this is from 4/7/2013. What the fuck is going on with internet news front pages lol.
"A revised version of this article appeared as "Another Poor Black Boy Dead in Haiti", Truth Out, April 7, 2013."

Dummy me, I'm supporting this shit by clicking on it.

He was killed by police or a bandit?
And where the link / article to point to the latter?

Also... seems that Huffpo is letting extremists write stuff, as is the case with those directly blaming the US for everything in Haiti. Apparently our opressive / racist government infects Caribbean Islands... who knew!

it says in the article itself that the hatian police said a bandit killed him. She then in her own article assumes police did it based on, what, I don't know. It's a quite confusing article honestly.

I never understood the outrage people feel over sensationalist news titles; they are titles, they need to grab your attention.

You, the rational thinking human being, can then decide what the truth is, by reading the article (as well as other sources on the story).

Now, if the article continues with sensationalism (which it does in this case), then yes, get outraged. Froth at the mouth, wave your fists and ask that you be made emperor of internet content,.. or, just black list the fucking news source from your daily intake of information and move on.

I don't like Drudge and Fox News, but, I would never demand to 'govern' them over their message. They see the world differently. And, there are quite a few people who see the world in the same manner. So, let them state what and how they see it. The logical counter to what they spew report is to provide facts, data and actual accounts of what is really happening. You then;
1) prove you are indeed a thinking and rational human being
2) are practicing being an independent individual

Also, we live in a world where fact checking is pretty quick and immediate. As well as thorough!
