I called BestBuy, and they didn't know anything about this email, they asked me to forward the whole thing, and they will call me back.
So guys be careful, don't fall into the trap.

Best regards

Strange....I got a call 2 weeks ago from my Visa card company stating that I had activity that they wanted to check on. Someone ordered $528.34 worth of Direct TV equipment. Well I didn't buy it! :Q They are sending me paperwork to sign to dispute the charge. They canceled the card and sent me another one with a new number.

In my case I was not home when they called. I was on the way to the airport. My wife contacted me with the info and I called them back on my cell phone. It all seemed very legit. But, I never thought to ask them to prove who they were. Well, when they asked for my SSAN to verify I was "ME" they started off with the 1st three numbers.

I guess you gotta be really careful!

Anyone read Kevin Mitnick's "Art of Deception"? Excellent book!!

I guess a small percentage of self paranoia never hurt anyone. ;)
