Pics aren't linking. They're in the article.

Police armed with assault rifles descended on a Maine man's home after members of a tree removal crew he'd told to clear off his property reported that he had a gun. Turns out the "gun" the tree crew had seen on Michael Smith of Norridgewock was just a life-sized tattoo of a handgun on his stomach.
Smith, who works nights, was asleep when the tree crew contracted by a utility to trim branches near power lines, woke him up at about 10 a.m. Tuesday.
He went outside shirtless and yelled at the workers to leave. When he's not wearing a shirt, the tattoo looks like a gun tucked into his waistband.
Smith tells the Morning Sentinel the tattoo has never been a problem before.
Police didn't charge him.

When "gun in your pants" tattoos are outlawed, only outlaws will have "gun in your pants" tattoos.

I live in snow country and I usually wear at least a shirt when I go out, even if it's just to yell at tree trimmers. Just saying.

You couldn't find a tree trimmer willing to call 911 for anything here in CA.

from the pic that is obviously a tat, don't know how that could be confused with the real thing, even from a distance.

Most don't know much about guns and panic when they see them. Of course, I am siding that the 'lawn dudes' wanted revenge for being yelled at so conspired to claim he had a real hand gun.
