I sent the following email to asrock and have not recieved an answer, has any one here figured it out?
"I recently purchased an Asrock 939dual and have been having some trouble.
My system consists of
Asrock 939dual mb bios 1.20
3200+ Amd Athlon 64
1gb Patriot xblk ddr 3200
Msi NX6600gt 128mb AGP
Maxtor 120gb 7200rpm 8mb cache hardrive
Nec dvd(rw)/cd(rw) dvdrom
Windows XP Pro 32bit
using onboard sound.
All of my equipment worked before installing the new asrock motherboard. I have two systems and I can put these pieces in my other system and they work perfectly.
The problem I am having is not being able to install the AGP MSI 6600gt video card. I have tried everything I can think of and either get exceptionally poor performance or a not recognized video card. I have
1. Reformatted harddrive
2. Reinstalled Windows XP Pro
3. Installed all the updates for Windows XP pro including sp2
4. Installed all of the Asrock drivers, making sure that they are the latest drivers available by downloading them off of your site.
5. Installed the Asrock uli AGP driver and rebooted.
6. Installed the latest drivers direct from nvidia. These did not work so I tried older ones from nvidia and several different drivers direct from MSI's Website.
Like I stated I can take this exact same video card and put it in my other system (Wifes) and it works perfectly, When I put it back into the Asrock board it fails to perform, It will not run any 3d application, such as 3dmark05, 3dmark03, Guild Wars, Unreal Tournament 2004, etc, etc, it will simply lock up the computer. I have managed to get it to work VERY CRIPPLED with an old MSI driver ( 72.12), and the only thing it will run is AquaMark, and it returns a pitifull score. I have also tried multiple bios configurations, I have tried with fastwrites both on and off, I have tried lowering agp from 8x to 4x. I have tried about everything you can think of. I have scoured the internet for help and have run into alot of people with the same problem but no fixes. I know that you have recieved emails about this exact same problem because people have posted your responses on the internet. They were not helpful.
Here are a few links to some of the threads I have found

Some peoples work and other do not. I am in the do not category. I am becoming very frustrated, I have been working on this problem for days. I have reformatted and started over an unknown amount of times. I am beginning to regret my purchase and considering sending it back.
Do you have any solutions?
