Terrible would be a massive understatement, anyway were there any other VR deals before this, confirmed by AMD, in the SoC (mobile?) space?

If they can get tether free (or light backpack) stuff working for even just VR social networking/tourism etc, there's a big market for it.

Not sure if the grunt (esp per watt) is quite there yet. Not that battery life is crucial - indeed a shortish battery life is going to be almost a benefit as it'll naturally limit the sessions. We'll see :)
