Found this on another bargain site.

Buy an Overstock.com $20 GC for $10 or $10 GC for $5 at Unisave.com. Write down the code, then go to Overstock.com and search for DVD. Overstock has the following DVD's for $19.90

X-Men, Matrix, U-571, MI-2,Gone in 60 seconds, The Perfect Storm, The Patriot,Gladiator, Braveheart,Chicken Run, Speed, Scream, The Wedding Singer and All Dogs Go to Heavan Christmas Carol

Bought U-571 for $10 shipped.

Note: I didn't get the secure lock icon on my browser when I bought the GC at Unisave. Also, GC's not stackable.

**** Update: Several members were given invalid GCs. Proceed w/caution or wait 'till it's resolved. ****

I got a GC, went to checkout, , but didn't get the "secure" icon either. So I tried to go to the "Merchant Info" link and couldn't connect---seems kinda strange...

Snake,

I used AMEX Blue. So if my card gets compromised I'm hoping that AMEX with their fraud protection will cover me up. Besides that, the whole transaction went smooth for me at least. I've read others got invalid GCs.

I did this deal...I am kinda sketched out by unisave.com....what company lets you enter cc info without billing address nowadays? They didn't even want a name on the card!!!

I am kinda worried, but I don't think a company can just use cc#'s and expiration dates to buy stuff anymore

regardless, it worked w/overstock.com, so I am happy

sig.

I had the same problem as Akash... it wouldn't let me apply the code I purchased.

Be careful with this one, be very careful. Something sketchy going on.

Nothing I could do. I e-mailed both Unisave and Overstock and told them what happened. Waiting on a reply.

Obviously, they're not shipping EVERYONE the same code, or no one here would have been able to shop. But something is screwy.

Haven't tried it myself, but I've read from other forums that you can purchase multiple GCs, but not combine them during your Overstock purchase. Not sure about web certs or internet cash though.

My wife (she doesn't know yet) and I both took advantage of this offer. The discount codes were different, but similar. Someone who is willing to spend the time might be able to figure out the pattern if the algorithm that is used isn't very complex. This might explain why a couple of you guys had problems.

Hey guys,

Tried to buy a 2nd DVD, but I got the invalid GC unicrap too. E-mailed both Overstock and Unisave. I even tried calling Unisave thru the web, but got answering machine. No toll free number. Anyway, let me know when you guys get your GCs resolved.

Later!

I was playing around changing numbers between the two GCs I bought. I was able to get $10 off out of it. But I want my $20. Bites! Good luck!

Huh... I just tried it, and it worked. MI2 being shipped to me for $10. (It's 19.90, so you lose the 0.10, unless, of course, you want to come back and purchase something else).

For those that had problems, was UniSave and Overstock asking you for your email address and a password? I felt like they were keeping track of the G.C.s now...

I think this is far too better deal on unisave.com:

goldanddiamond.com
$500.00 Gift Certificate for only $250.00

Nope. No reply from Unisave OR Overstock.com.

Both of these operations obviously have crack customer-service teams.
