I tried google, but I have no idea which ones are good, and some require a toolbar plugin (who knows if the company is legit or not)

Just wanted to see if you guys had favorites or what you use....

Thanks Twista, although I guess I was looking more for information or sites covering this matter. I downloaded the program, but probably will not run it until I get more information about it. For now I am using the-cloak.com, which seems legit so far.

What exactly are you trying to hide, and who are you trying to hide from?

The internet isn't exactly a place where people can intercept your activities as easily as they make it seems on all those sites that sell anonymous browsing software.

Nothing too big, just I want to search some things (nothing sexual related) that might have some codewords that could trigger one of those big brother type machines.

Its a pretty good program. Just use "auto piolet" and it will turn on the proxy for you. (warning: it will close all browsers so it can turn on the proxy, so if your typing something save it before you turn on auto piolet.
