These are highly discounted which always makes me a little hesitant. Is the professional series supposed to be better quality than the Titanium series?

From what I can tell from the Analon website, they don't make the Professional line anymore, so it's probably just a clearance price. I've never seen them myself so I can't comment on the quality. If it's at all important to you, the Titanium set is dishwasher safe, where anodized aluminum must be handwashed.

I personally prefer the metal lids of the Titanium to the glass lids. They are very high quality and not unnecesarily heavy or fragile.

I'll say it again, I love 'em!

Ahh, likely a clearance item, that would make sense. Thanks for that info.

Ahh, jeez, $147.90 - $25 coupon - $25 Amazon Visa rewards certificate = $97.90 shipped for new high quality cookware. Merry Christmas, honey! :D

Just make sure to take her to Linens & Things after Christmas. She'll see the $300 price tag for the same set and flip out! :)

Just wanted to give this a bump for a small price drop on this great deal. It's now down to $139.99 or $114.99 after the $25 off coupon with free shipping. I've now had these for about 2 months and use them every day with no complaints worth mentioning.
