annyoing Ga-8knxp beeps

whenever I use the si-soft sandra utility and hit motherboard information i get these consecutive annyoing beeps and they dont go off unless i restart. I checked the temp and it was 44 C so its not heat. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Many nforce2 mobo's output the pc speaker to the onboard audio output. Go into your Sound properties, open the volume control, and add a PC Speaker from the Properties menu. You can then lower the beep, or mute it entirely.

i had the same problem on my gigabyte 8IPE1000 Pro (865 chipset)
It would start beeping sometimes, and the beets would come from in the PC speaker and wouldn't stop
and my temp was only 37c.
I found the fix for it. You need to go under your pc health and turn off the rpm monitoring of all your fans.
also turn off the smart monitoring for your cpu fan.
and you won't have any more beeping. 🙂

Mate i have the same problem. I really do think that there is something wrong, and that simply turning the monitoring features off is not the best way to solve this. I'm just assuming, but maybe the boards have some sort of fail safe system built in which results in the system alarming.

Your help would be much appreciated......this doesn't seem healthy

Thanks
