I don't even know how it happened, but now, whenever I download a file from a website, it automatically saves it in C:\windows\temp\ and it then automatically opens it. Does anyone know how to fix this? I tried resetting all the settings in IE to default, but that didn't seem to help at all.
 
Go to folder options in the control panel and click on the file types tab. Select the file type that is opening (most likely ZIP) and click the advanced button. Make sure 'Confirm open after download' is checked.
