Annoying Winamp Problem

I am running Winamp 2.50E on Windows XP Pro.

Is there ANY way to get Winamp to ADD my new MP3 selections to the existing playlist, instead of it merrily wiping out the previous playlist that took me about 30 min to create, but I had temporarily forgotten about ?

I try selecting ?Enqueue as default action? but it seems to have NO effect whatsoever.

I try selecting ?Allow multiple instances? but all this means is that every time I try and make a new playlist by selecting 10 or 15 MP3s from within Windows Explorer, Winamp blows it self away by opening a separate instance of Winamp for every single song I selected.

I have also tried the latest beta of Winamp 3 and that didn?t help.

I apologize if this has been dealt with before, but the issues is driving me INSANE and I did a search, but only found this thread:

And neither option suggestion helped me.

Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

I can give you instructions for windows 2000, but they might not work verbetem for WindowsXP.

Go to Windows Explorer.

Go to Tools...Folder Options...File types

Go to MP3.

Then go to advanced, then make the "enque" bold by making it default. That should do it.
