both programs contain their own options for starting up when windows starts. real audio's is under preferences, start center. basically disable start center and you should keep it from loading when windows starts. depending on what version of icq you have, the disabling of starting up when windows starts is in a different location. it shouldnt be too hard to find. just look under the preferences.

For the record, I ABSOLOUTELY HATE REAL NETWORKS INSTALLER!!! ITS THE MOST NAZIRIFIC INSTALLER EVER. ALL THE STEPS DURING THE INSTALLATION HAVE SOME SORT OF "We are going to take over your computer and change everything to the way we want it!", EFFECT.

PISS OFF REAL NETWORKS!

what program doesnt try to take over your system to get itself installed the way that advertises best for the company that made the program? tons of programs try to startup with windows. they try to create desktop icons, system tray icon, start menu icons, and quick launch icons. and then you have all the media players fighting for control of the file types. thats quite annoying but hey, if you make software, you want people to use it.
