Annoying <SHIFT> key problem in XP PRO

There are times when I am typing and I have a tendency to pause while holding down the <SHIFT> key. Then XP gives me an annoying pop-up box telling me that I am leaning on the key and any way I answer to this message I get stuck in "Caps lock" mode and cannot get out of it. The "Caps Lock" light is not on and I can only type in Capital letters until I reboot. Is there any way to stop XP from monitoring my keyboard? Thanks.

control panel->accessibility options->keyboard tab->filterkeys->settings
uncheck "use shortcut"

just so you know, this feature isnt new to windows, it has been around since either 95 or 98. perhaps you arent used to having accessibility options installed (you dont have a choice in xp)

All you have to do to get rid of that stupid caps crap is hold Shift down and press caps lock once, just encase you need a quick fix. 😉
