Annoying problem with WinDVD 6

In the prefrences of WinDVD 6 you can select the directory that WinDVD saves screen captures and bookmarks. I've set the folder a number of times to a specific folder, but it always goes to D:\My Documents\InterVideo\WinDVD.

I've searched google and I've got no clue how to fix this annoying issue.
