Annoying Problem w/ Word 2002

Somehow, I happened to install a telephone number into Word 2002. Every time I open the system, I get the number in the blank first sheet. I do not know where to go to correct and or delete this permanently. It started and happened when I was using Word 2000, and I thought that the upgrade would eliminate it, but it has not.

I believe you can delete the normal.dot (Word template). This is the file that is loaded the initializes the word environment when you start a new document.
Re-install Word after deleting the file and I believe you will be ok...

The template that is "usually" loaded at startup is found here...

C:\Documents and Settings\ { Whatever your logon is } \Application Data\Microsoft\Templates\Normal.dot

You can also simply open this file in word, make the modifications and save it down over itself.
