Annoying pop up that reminds me of low-disk space

That pop up at the bottom right corner. It annoys the hell out of me :|, how do I disable it?

I fixed mine by deleting a few gigs of unnecessary por - wait nevermind.

Start Regedit

Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\

Create a DWORD value of EnableBalloonTips

Give it a value of 0

Give it a value of 0

This would disable all the balloon tips (not just the low disk space warning). See the first link for a more problem-specific approach.

If you're this low on space rather than fighting the warnings why not clean up disk space or get more. There's no point in medicating the symptoms if the problem itself can be resolved.

Its just with my partitions that contains por.. oops i mean mp3's, movies, tv shows, etc, which I intend to all keep.
