Annoying linux compile prob

So, I've had mythtv up and running for some time, but off my monitor. I decided it was time to put it on the tv, and have had some problems. I'm using a matrox g400 max, and I want to use framebuffer to output to the tv.

I've gotten all of this to work in gentoo, but I'm using redhat because it's so easy to set up everything else for myth. Anyway, I've enabled everything necessary in the kernel, and compiled, but it's not making the matroxfb_maven module. I found a post through google heresaying there's an error with the Makefile and that matroxfb is out of sync with the current kernel. His solution is cryptic at best.

Is there an easy workaround for me to just make this module?

This is all I need to get everything working...ugh

Thanks -

Yeah - the easy workaround was in the page you linked to.

Lines starting with a "<" mean "remove this line." Lines starting with a ">" mean "add this line."
