Hi guys!
Got a problem with my display..either the monitor or my vid card I suspect- here are my system specs:
Duron 750, 128MB RAM, MSI K7Pro2a Mobo
Voodoo3 2000 AGP (2 years old)
Samsung 753DF 17" Monitor (6 months old)
Problem:
At higher resolutions ( 1024x768, 1152x864 ), displayed text have faint "border" or "ghosts"- I also have faint vertical lines going down the edges of app windows.
What I have tried:
Degaussing: Seems to solve it temporarily
Try lower resolutions: no visibile lines or fuzzies at 800x600.
Adjusting refresh: running at 75mhz and 85mhz
I've also downlaoded new monitor drivers and installed the latest VIA patch
THe problem is intermittent though- there are times when I boot up and my display is normal.
