It is rather anoying to go into hot deals and find people taking generic items and then applying some promo with them. Like 20 dollars off of 100 @ Newegg So people will find a specific product on NewEgg, will make a post and then say 105.25 - 20 for the XXX deal... It gets old and can apply to any item with NewEgg anyway. Same thing with the google checkout thing. Knowing about the deal is one thing, but trying to create multiple threads where they take the standard price and apply the promo or coupon to it gets real old. Anyone with half a brain can figure out that anything over 100 dollars at NewEgg qualifies for 20 dollars off with PayPal.
Example of a GREAT hot deal post
"$20 of of $100 though NewEgg until XXX Date"
Example of a retarded post
"$86.77 For WD4000!"
Detail = HEy guys, the price is 106.77, but if you order through PayPal with this coupon code, you get it for $86.77 at NewEgg." When just a few posts above is the "$20 of of $100 though NewEgg until XXX Date"
It is like... Dude, you can do that to ANY item within NewEgg that is over $100. So why post things like that?
Sorry for the format and if this doesn't make sense... Don't have a lot of time. I just wish Hot Deals posters would use some common sense before posting.
