Annoying Hiss sound!

When i'm finish recording from CD to mp3, there will always be hiss sound in the music. No matter what program i use.

Any suggestions?

what cd drive, sound card model do u got?

if available, use the digital connections between teh cd drive and sound card instead of the analogue ones.

I'm using Pioneer DVD and sound blaster live value. I only have regular line.

Where can i get digital line?

I notice a hiss also. but when I play it in my car radio it's not there. There must be something wrong with the soundcard or something.
