annoying hardware bios vanity

About HALF my bootup time is spent on the bios from virtually EVERY piece of hardware I have (mobo, scsi card, scsi drive, tape drive, cd-rom) loading, pausing, flashing what it is, when it's from etc.

Are there ANY ways to get rid of this? (A) for speeds' sake and (B) since I already know what I have and don't need to be reminded every day.

Thank you in advance for any possible solutions.

Best solution is to just leave your computer on 24x7

The "speed up" option in my BOIS only appears to cut back on the memory test, which doesn't speed thigs up much at all
