Annoying GoHip

i didn't know what I clicked, but whenever i reboot the machine my ie and netscape homepage are both replaced by gohip.

when i open up ie, it still goes to anandtech (my original homepage) but at the bottom there is a new stupid popup with ads and whole bunch of garbage links....

does anyone know how i can get rid of them?!??! i tried to go to internet option to change the homepage back to anandtech, but every time i reboot it changes back to the following page:

http://www.gohip.com/browser/?pid=A...amp;v=35&co=&hp=http://anandtech.com/

any help would be highly appreciated

go to their website www.gohip.com and go to their help section. There should be a file that says you can download, its called Remove.exe. There you go.

i finally got rid of it!!! thanks, that thing was terribly annoying, and i don't even have any idea how i got this "virus" crap....

and the idea of d/l a remover to get rid of it is plain stupid as well....

GoHip is the biggest peice of pop-up crappy junk out there. My girlfriend has it stuck on her computer too. I kept changing the default home page back to MSN in Explorer properties, and it would be overidden by that GoHip Sh@t.
