Annoying Flicker in 3d shooter games using LeadTek Geforce2 Pro card

I'm using the latest detonator drivers and I get this annoying flicker every now and then when I play a 3d shooter game. The flicker only appears on 3d shooters.

Where do I start?

first off ENABLE VSYNC. this should get rid of that flicker you are talking about. Set your refresh rate to 100hz and enable vsnync. I have heard that geforce cards are just prone to flicker in some games and that there isn't much you can do about it. Try not overclocking your card and see what happens too.
