actually, if only one of those commercials is nationally syndicated, and he gets a several-ad gig out of that one, then he can live off that one spot for as long as it lasts.

I know the guy that was the "crazy gamecube guy" in those nintendo commercials a few years ago. I think his character appeared in ~5 different TV ads, maybe more? He lived decent enough off the paychecks from that one gig for 3 years.

I'm sure he's doing just fine, but he's no jared or the "can you hear me now" guy.

Point is, his commercials are all really annoying.

Something about him makes me want to punch him in the face.
I got super annoyed at the fiber commercial, then saw him on a VZ commercial. I was sick of him.
Then I walked into a VZ store to look at a case for a new phone....there is a friggin 20x30 poster of that fat f*** just right in the front greeting everyone. WTF?

I don't know if this just runs locally, but I see it on ESPN all the time. If they had enough money to buy airtime, you'd think they could have hired a marketing team as well.

Standard response to commercials:
1) Mute the volume
2) Press Pause so I don't have to be bothered by irritating motion in the window.
3) After a few minutes, fast forward to where the show starts again.
Result: Very little exposure to the idiocy of commercials.


Most commercials make me want to firebomb the headquarters of the respective organization.
But that'd be too easy. I'd rather have it be some kind of ironic punishment.

Michelin ads would result in mass tire-slashings.
A life insurance company: everyone at the company must die.
Ambulance-chaser lawyer ads: Everyone at the law firm must be attacked by zombies, then killed again, and finally sued for expenses.

Even if it that isn't her, the girl in that commercial ruined it. It would have been so much better with just the lizards.

I'm really getting sick of the Heineken commercial with the people passing the beer along. Seen it so many times, think I have the order memorized:

guy in suit --> black couple --> girl in blue dress --> lumberjack --> East Indian woman at wedding --> guy wearing cowboy hat --> ballerina --> dudes in sauna --> female DJ --> back to original guy

lately out here I've been seeing the commercial for some web site like freexbox360.com or something saying you go there and get a free Xbox 360, I'm use to email spam, but I'm shocked this commerical seems to be on every hour on almost every channel out here on Charter. Wonder how much money they're spending to spam out their company like that. I should go check it out maybe it's legit lol
