I see this all too often with all the sports. Here's an example:
Yeah he got a hit, but he's still 3-28, and still in a slump. If he was 0-27 then yes he snapped out of his hitless streak, but 3-28 is still a skid depending on what he does in his next 5-10 at bats.
Hatteberg snapped a 2-for-27 skid with a solo shot off rookie John Maine (1-1) in the first inning. . .
