Annoyance in Windows XP Explorer

Hey everyone,

I display most of my folders in the "Details" view. I was wondering if anyone knows a way to set which details are displayed for multiple folders at once. I want to change the details that are displayed for all of my music folders, but I don't want to have to go through each folder individually and go through the "choose details" stuff in order to select the details to be displayed. Does anyone know how to change the details displayed for multiple folders at once? Thanks!

To do it globally, go to Explorer and set up the view exactly how you want them all to be. Then go to Tool -> Folder Options -> View (tab) -> Apply to All Folders.

Thanks ColKurtz, I appreciate your help. However, some of the details I want to be displayed are Artist, Album... so I don't want those details for every folder, just for the My Music folder and all of its subfolders. Any ideas?

It might be time to invest in one of the many media library programs out there. I think you'll find it more convenient than using explorer to read a few ID3 tags.
