Announcing the new ATGamers.com - New look coming soon!

Hey guys. Just wanted to announce that the ATGamers.com "staff" (i.e. me) has decided to redo the atgamers.com domain into a forums-only, discussion-only site. I felt that all the hoopla wasn't working on the old site, and there was plain too much going on for the amount of traffic we were receiving. I hope this will encourage new traffic to the site.

Unfortunately, I was unable to successfully convert the old forums over to the new format. I had all my version numbers correct, but in the end, it just wasn't working. I'm truely sorry for those who contributed so much to the old site, and hope you don't take a grudge against me. I still have the database saved as of 2/24, so maybe there's something I can do.

As for the new site, I have high hopes for it!! Everyone feel free to register (or reregister) and post away about gaming. I devote myself to be a daily visitor and poster, so we'll see what happens this time around. And I promise NOT to switch anything around again. What you post will stay forver and ever and ever.

Feel free to post your comments here or there, and give this post some bumps .

EDIT: Thanks to DeviousTrap, there will be a new, custom look coming soon to ATGamers.com. I hope it will be done tomorrow, and integrated soon thereafter. Thanks for visiting the site!!!

Im no good with skins, but there are many downloadable out there. And if you need a hand with a logo, let me know.

I might be able to help out with the database... I've worked with Invision Board a lot.

Thanks for the comments. As for the skin, DeviousTrap and I talked at length last night, and he is going to whip together a couple for us. I am open to any suggestions you guys can give.

Quix, maybe cpals and I can get together sometime soon and check out what we can do with restoring some of the previous threads.

Ya, that is the plan (and was in the beginning), and I think everyone wants it to work out this way. If we can get a lot of people signed up and regularly posting, I think this could happen .

Hmm... looks like he ran out the day before the end of the month. If he needs help with hosting I already told him that I would be glad to help out.

I didn't run out of anything.... it seems like blurredvision ran out of bandwidth and since bandwidth is replenished every month I said a day before the month ends.
