i'm sitting here watching a boring a&m vt game. the only thing worthwhile about it at all is how much the refs are giving VT. first there was a hold by the vt corner on an a&m deep ball that the announcers decided was incidental and the refs didn't call, and just now the refs blew the whistle before suggs or lee was down, just as it was blown the rb is stripped but because the whistle had been blow the play was over. the officials gave vt 3 points, so now the game is tied. and the announcers can hardly speak they've got so much vt cock in their mouths.

Dude, I wish I could be watching the game. Instead I am stuck with internet radio and CNN scoreboard (ESPN Gamecast is broken for it).

VT Class of 2000.

And it might be boring, but both teams are defensive. Neither is a passing team either, so there will not be much in the way of big plays.

thanks to that true freshman a&m has vt gets 3 points. so now the game should actually be tied buy vt is up by 3. theres a whole 9 points on the board. not a touchdown yet, and its about 5 minutes into the 3rd.

I'm watching the Florda vs. Tennessee game. OMG this is so crazy...Tenn was favored to win because of the strength of their running game (which was key in this driving hard rain!) Instead Florida leads 24-0 because a) Tenn can't snap the ball; b) Tenn keeps trying to throw, not run; and c) Grossman has found his mojo! Two throws for completions WHILE being sacked!!! Crazy. Lots of booing Tenn fans now.

students don't sit much at any school AFAIK. but the aggie alums also stand the whole game. thats why the aggies call us tea-sippers, cuz our alumni sit (and usually go back to their beer about halfway through the game since we're up that much)

fumble, game over. what the hell is beamer ball? that was pure luck! stupid farking announcers.

Beamer Ball is where the head coach is the special teams coach. That means that people who are offensive and defensive starters play on special teams, instead of all the 2nd/3rd stringers like most schools do. Beamer Ball is the reason why we have the most blocked kicks of any school out there.

well the announcers just said beamer ball is that you try to get points in all aspects of the game. so i guess they're wrong there too. did these guys prepare at all for this game? or did they just drink beer in the chicken all week.

another missed field goal. maybe its not over. though i wouldn't expect the aggies to score 10 points in less than a quarter.

Well they aren't completely off. Its more like "Special teams can make the difference in winning or losing a game". That would be a good one liner describing it.

well the announcers were applying it to defense.

aggie d told their offense that if they can score 14 they'll probably win. for certain at 21. god the aggie offense sucks.

Beamer ball has nothing to do with defense, so in that case, the announcers are idiots.

heck, aggie special teams have outplayed vt special teams. not by much but they have more returns and slightly longer punts and no missed FGs.

Yeah, the kicker we have right now is not the best we've had.
