New features:
Native one-click PDF (Adobe Acrobat) export.
Macromedia Flash export for presentations and drawings.
Microsoft Office 2003 XML file formats.
ActiveX control allows users to view OpenOffice.org documents within a browser window (Internet Explorer) on Windows platform.

I installed this last night The Flash export feature is awesome. As far as I know there has previously been no easy way to convert PowerPoint presentations to SWF's. The PDF export also works really well and is extremely fast. The only problem that I have with OpenOffice is that most Microsoft Word docs that I open don't display properly. There is always something that is out of whack. I would hate to create a resume, send it to an employer and have it display all funky in Word when they open it.

Another point worth mentioning is that during setup, the installation doesn't install the Java Runtime Environment for you (although there is an option to do so, but it's greyed out and you can't select it). You have to download it, and then point the installer to it.

can always save it in microsofts format, i think it will work right that way, worked for me at least

Unfortunately, it requires a Java virtual machine to be installed (for full functionality). Which one do you folks recommend?
