The gamestop site says

Internet Connection: Temporary broadband connection for product registration, permanent broadband connection for multiplayer

Protection: TAGES-Solidshield

although: * GameStop App must be installed in order to download software.


hopefully thats for download only and not needed to keep playing or anything.

Well, Impulse can be deleted after install, no need to have it on your system :thumbup:

hmm, I just installed it.. and now it requires a ubisoft account and login to play it.. even offline?

There is a button on the lower right of that screen that says offline mode. You do need to login to a Uplay account in game though to bind to your account.
