Dammit, and I just got my sarcasm meter fixed from your last political post :)

I hope that Pitt's students do us all a favor and refuse to make a big deal about this. The last thing that this crazy lady needs is more free publicity for her books.

Why are schools inviting such an extremist to talk to students?

What good would come of that?

She is outrageous.

We got her because it kept the neocon's, young american's for freedom, and college republicans from whining for a week and a half.
i get a kick out of how everyone thinks Republicans back Coulter. just because Dems loathe her doesn't automatically make Repubs in her camp.

I don't think people think all republicans agree with her lunacy, but someone is buying her books.

The college republican's of Penn State University used the money they got from our student government (i.e. mine and the other 449999 kid's who go here's "student activity fund") to pay her to speak. Yes Repubs back her.

Just watch out. She's not a true conservative, she's more a mouthpiece for the less educated, and fascist leaning from the back woods. I went to see Barbara Bush at my school, and she was great to listen to, however, AC is just a loudmouth.

Disclaimer: I tend to fall on the left side of the fence, but don't instantly disagree with everything the right has to say. Although I'd love to rip AC's vocal cords out. She is completely intolerant, and authoritarian.

Hey, I consider my self a libertarian and I know plenty a normal conservative who thinks she is an asshat. The problem is the only jerk off's that belong to said groups are the morons who eat her oral fecal matter up.

Unfortunately there's a mandatory coat check and you're not allowed to take anything in with you. Any ideas of what to do or say during the "Q&A"?

Just curious... If you don't like her, why bother to go? To make a scene? Do you yell at the TV when there is something on that you don't like rather than change the channel? Kind of childish if you ask me.

Whenever some agenda driven hack I disagree with comes to my town to make a presentation, I don't go. Just like when there is a show on TV I don't want to watch, I change the channel.

I've never understood the need for some people to make bigger asses of themselves than the asses they despise. Grow up. Let Ann and her sychphants have their fun. Save your money for a ticket to Al Gore's next show at your campus.

I guess that having her as the opening speaker at the Conservative Political Action Conference, with many of the front runners for their party, doesn't make her a voice for their party....

He is going to act as a way to show his disapproval of the situation. It is like any form of protest. Arguably the only way to change something is to act. One may say that it would be a firmer message if no one went, however there will be people there. This is america though, it is not the message it is the show.

You are right. I don't know, it's entertainment for me... to sit and listen to someone spew so much garbage that it just becomes hilarious.

Then I definitely wouldn't go. ;)

There are some disgusting people out there with some seriously messed up and vitriolic views/opinions. But the constitution applies equally to everyone. Even assholes.

I was waiting for that. It isn't any different. He is the same kind of jerk off. However, debatable it is fire with fire. I've only ever seen his first film (or one of his first), it was the one about the automakers taking jobs away and him trying to speak with the executive. I thought he was a jerk off then, and still do now. He is not part of the solution, he is part of the problem. Like I said though, it is fire with fire. For every action there is an equal yet opposite reaction.

Hey, just think... if you get arrested for harrassing Coulter they will most likely make you an "Elite Member" here.

Hey, this really needs to be in P&N. ;)
