He is going to act as a way to show his disapproval of the situation. It is like any form of protest. Arguably the only way to change something is to act. One may say that it would be a firmer message if no one went, however there will be people there. This is america though, it is not the message it is the show.

I was waiting for that. It isn't any different. He is the same kind of jerk off. However, debatable it is fire with fire. I've only ever seen his first film (or one of his first), it was the one about the automakers taking jobs away and him trying to speak with the executive.
