Just attended a speech of hers. She is REALLY out there. She tries to say the most outrageous things just to get a response from the audience. She said she fully supports racial profiling in the search of airline passengers. Talk about flame bait!

Now that may SOUND great, but if you do that the terrorists will know who NOT to send, the thing with complete random is that nobody is excluded.

That is because it is reasonable concept. At no point did i suggest that non middle eastern groups should not be given a closer look. Given the threat, some groups should be looked at bit closer than others.

I would make an assumption that with this practice, they could send a sh!tload
of middle eastern men between the ages of 18-35 to the airport and racial profiling
would actually contribute to another 9/11 like attack.

Racial profiling is not the answere.

Still, spending more resources on a group of people that they know are monitored more closely isn't going to do anything, they'll just find someone who doesn't belong to that group to do the dirtywork.

Find a way to get the bomb on board with a little old lady without her even knowing it and you are home free if resources are taken from that group.

Not that it would be needed though, there are plenty of nutjobs of all races out there who would gladly blow themselves up for the "cause".

True, if people are suspects because of their race rather than their actions equality under the law is gone.

I'm all for racial profiling if they begin stopping and searching 50 year old white guys walking into investment companies and brokerage firms. Maybe it would cut down on all the corporate scandals.
