If Libs don't want to recognize they have more of their own Coulter's or that she even uses tatics that are in themselves democratic or that maybe she is a response to everyday liberalism then those are the unreasonable libs. To those who can poke fun at themselves you have a chance to be reasonable and actually be heard by a conservative.

It is hard to be humble.
That's because you're not trying

Let me try to reduce it down to three simple words, all with less than 2 syllables, so a simple mind might be able to grasp it:

That made me

was waiting for someone to catch that :)

Coulter couldn't out debate anyone and has descended to the lowest form of politics. Edwards should invite her into a court of law where she can attempt to prove that he is what she called him. A defamation of character suit would be an easy way to add to his campaign money. The Republican party should distance themselves from this stupid beotch.

When are the Dems going to get smart and link Ann Coulter to Republicans like they link
Democrats to michael Moore? I think she has spewed enough crap for the right to make a case.

The dems already haved linked Ann to the Repubs. it's just not working out like they'd hoped.

I absolutely LOVE the irony of the leftwing extremists in here complaining about the use of the word "lovely human", while in the same breath, calling Ann a "man, he -she, tranny" etc.

I'm not surprised, though - it falls right in line with everything you looney libs stand for.

"It's not ok unless it benefits us"

Since when do two wrongs make a right? It's not okay for either side to say things like that.

Thing is that the Republicans in charge of this event chose to have Ann make an opening comment at their fund raising dinner - the same person who said about the 911 widows:

?I've never seen people enjoying their husbands' deaths so much.?

...and has espoused many more of these little chestnuts in the past, is chosen to start the proceedings for the REPUBLICANS.....

Was she greeted with silence? No. She was greeted with the reaction of: "oh, I hope no one can see me agreeing with her..."

It's kind of comical to see some of these members (JEDIYoda, daniel49) post. Are they being serious or just being funny? How can someone say that fire isn't hot and be taken serious?

Well, what else can they do when their heroes are falling all over themselves?

They have to go down with the ship too. Have to admire their tenacity.

She's a kook, conservatives who associate with her -seriously- are dumbasses, and the Left goes into delirious spasms to paint a bogus conservative mosaic from which to feed their circle-jerk. Moving on...

Not to put too fine a point on it, but SOMEONE buys her books and goes to her speeches and watches her on TV. And, by all accounts, it's a fairly large number of people who do so. Maybe I'm going out on a limb here, but I'm betting very few of those people voted Democrat in the last election. You might not like her, but a fair number of conservative apparently do. Is it fair to tar all of you with that same brush? I suppose not, but it's hard to feel sorry for a group of people who do the same thing to "the other guys" all the time.

Just go take a look at the freepers' discussion threads about it. Not even 1% of the people who post there have in any way criticized her for it. It is almost universally a love fest, as usual.
I'll go on record here. What Ann Coulter said was wrong and inappropriate.

But isn't it interesting that so many of those offended here have no difficulty with derogatory name calling as long as it's directed at conservatives.

And in other news, Washington state elected politicians call NASCAR fans "buck-toothed, white trash rednecks... they?d be the ones with the junky cars in the front yard and would try to slip around the law". "Link"

Ann is douche, leave it at that, and stop trying to use the above fallacy against the republican candidates in attendance.

ohhhh I get it. John edwards is a bigot for some employees personal blogs but Repubs are exempt from said fallacious argument.

Its politics, logic and reasoning are optional.
I failed to weigh in on that one. This incident definitely leaves those who attacked Edwards, wide open for the counter-punch.

Couldn't agree more about the "optional" comment. Insanity forbid, politicians actually focus their campaigns, on just presenting possible solutions, in the spirit of détente, and stop trying to win the "I'm the lesser evil" contest. Of course, the American publics' fascination with "dirty laundry", rumour mongering, ect. ensures that won't happen. No one but "ourselves" to blame for how they run their campaigns.

And they wonder why they're tagged as bigots as they use that language and pass discrimination in laws not only for doing that, but for getting out the 'bigot vote' to elect republicans too.

Yup, just like when whoopieeeee pointed at her bush during the democrat convention i think it was.
And as for bigots, well, just look in the mirror. You'll clearly see a bigot.

operative issue, when will the Dems get smart?

The problem is, for every Ann Coulter issue they go bezerk over, their own people give the other side as many if not more issues to throw back at'em.

Then again, Republican or Democrat is just two sides of the same coin.
