About a month ago, maybe more i slipped down the stairs, i didn't really have any pain right away, but a day or two after, i noticed i had a intense burning pain on the outside side of my ankle, just below the bone on my left foot..
It only happens when the ankle is bent towards the end of the ROM.. There isn't any pain from walking, and i don't notice that the ankle feels any weaker. There's also no swelling or bruising.

I'm wondering what i could have done, i'm quite confused seing as there is no bruising, swelling or weakness, the only problem is the intense burning under dostal flexion of the ankle..

Sounds like some kinda of soft tissue got damaged. However, I'm not a doctor; but you know who is? Your resident orthopedist 😛 If it's bugging you enough, go see the doctor. None of us are qualified to tell you what is what.

No, but some may have had a similar experience, or know what this type of pain is caused by..
Thanks for your advice anyway..

When it comes to joints, a similar pain often does not mean the same injury. There are many bones, ligaments, tendons, muscles, etc in your foot. There are tons of options for injuries. Keep this in mind.
