So I've tried the usual ways Cernax direct email to Ankit and even PM'd him here. But no response for 7 days for PM and more than a month for Email.

I need Ankit to help me credit a backup plan I put in place for $25 for a year back in 2005. I used it for a few days in 2005 after a Hurricane when my host's Florida data center experienced some down time.

Haven't used his services this year or ever since then. But I got a $25 charge from him in Nov and have not had any luck getting him to credit this mistaken subscription. Not sure why that happened, I was only using him for the few days and never intended to sign up for a subscription. Anyway anyone that can help get in touch with Ankit would be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

UPDATE: 4/14/2009 5 months and 3 weeks after I contacted Cernax:

Ankit has taken care of this personally.

Thanks Ankit for taking care of this issue, wish it had been resolved from the new Cernax owners directly but I appreciate what you did!

UPDATE 2 7/7/2009 Promise after promise BROKEN . . . I had a promise Ankit tried to send the funds Paypal screwed up and Ankit never tried again despite repeated promises to do so. So out $25 Cernax is a dead company their support system did not work for me they never responded it is going on 8 months with no response except when I dug up Ankit's personal email thanks to Anandtech members . . . UGH!

Just an update,
Heard from Ankit, he promised a resolution but so far no credit. . . He did say he wasn't in charge of Cernax anymore, but hopefully this will get resolved soon. .

:( still waiting. . .

Ankit hasn't owned Cernax in quite awhile. You need to submit a ticket through the helpdesk.

I've never seen a web hosting account that didn't auto-renew. For most people, that's a recipe for disaster.

Yeah, I've been wondering what happened to him.

Sagalore,
:) That's a great suggestion why didn't I think of that. . . :)

sorry I wouldn't be here kickin' the board where I was recommended Cernax if Cernax support had bothered responding.

I've sent multiple support requests with never an answer from Cernax. They are dead as far as I can tell.

At least Ankit replied and talked to me about the issue via email, I do appreciate that and Ankit is of course who I dealt with when I created this short term backup hosting account way back in 2005.

Hopefully I'll get something soon.
