I want to know how good video cards do with anisotropic enabled. How big of a performance hit do they take when they are using it? The cards I am interested in are the following:
GeForce 2 MX 400
Radeon LE
Hercules 3D Prophet 4500 (Kyro II)
GeForce 2 GTS
Radeon 64Mb DDR
GeForce 2 Pro
How big of a performance hit do each of them take with anisotropic in games? I undersatnd that Kyro II takes a 50% performance hit because it takes a full 2 clock cycles to do it, but what about the other cards? And do certain cards do it better than others?
Thanks in advance
