Pretty hot deal for Anime. Even though it's only VHS if you're looking for an entire box set of anything I have never seen a price this low.

It's at amazon for $9.99 and when I checked out my shipping was $3.99. Total =$13.98.

Here's the link:

Hell yeah! Great series, great price. Thanks!

Edit: Crap, says it's a "special order" at checkout. We'll see what happens.

the vhs poses an issue.. so the deal should be more like $13 + how much ever to buy the cheapest vcr you can find, which is a def YMMV.

as for the limited edition, they are only making 5000, and is signed and everything, so even at 140, the price might not be too bad? if yer a collector or a saber marionette J freak

I just happened to purchase a VHS player last christmas otherwise I woulda just skipped right by this deal.

Man those things are still expensive. You figure old technology would be cheap but they still have em for 100+ easy...The cheapest new DVD play may actually beat the cheapest new VHS player

definitly a sweet deal for those that still do vhs and can stand the quality, for me and others, that now must have dvd, this is pretty much a waste of money.. Oh, and it you don't have any VCR, you must either be pretty young or never bothered to replace your last broken one.

i already had it ordered, but didn't even bother to check to see if it was a sub or a dub. thankfully, it was a sub ^^

as for the vid quality issue, first few viewings on a VHS is acceptable, and i dun forsee myself watching this series over and over again as i did w/ matrix dvd.. and finding the VCR tucked away somewhere then looking for a place to put it under the TV is a huge hassle, esp when you only have 2 shelves to work w/ and is already loaded.. :(

July? Really?

Mine says Aug 1, 2003 - Aug 5, 2003. I guess you ordered earlier. But the fact that we're not all August estimates seems to indicate they actually intend to get their special orders in, unless it merely estimates a certain amount of time after the order is placed, and we ordered several days apart.

Amazon.com is usually really conservative about their shipping estimates. Once I got my order before they even notified me that it was shipped!
