I just got back from a 3 day anime convention in baltimore called otakon. Wow what an experiance..3 days of anime non stop, with people in costumes and raves and crazyness! 40,000 people showed up the inner harbor area was totally controlled by a bunch of anime freaks lol...

anyone else here go or like anime?

Sounds like hell.

Woohoo....giant robots fighting with swords because laser guns can't harm them piloted by people that talk really really fast and overreact to everything. Now THAT'S entertainment! 😀

And 39,967 of those people were dudes. 🙂

No man...true the gaming room was pretty much ruled by guys..but the rest looked pretty 50 50. I am sure there were more guys if you looked at actually statistics but there were a heck of a lot of girls there..including a bunch of them dressing up in anime costumes(aka school girl uniforms and game characters)

Some of them very hot sister then. As long as it's not your wouldn't you bang it? I mean she's already wearing a mini-skirt?

Yes anime is cool, but now it's starting to become overdone.

More like Faye Valentine or Rinoa from FF.

Yeah some pepole dont some people do. I happen to love it, but it prob helped that i lived in japan for five years. and even if you didnt like anime you would still prob have fun at the convention. Lots of video games and raves, and japanese cultral stuff

Yeah there were a lot of girls dressed up as characters from FF10

Anime rules. I love anime. I don't know if I'm a convention person or not though (never been to one). Maybe, but I sure as hell wouldn't be dressing up.

 Faye Valentine

nope, just heard on some japanese music forums that they were gonna be there.

oh yeah, i have a japanese news clip of that convention in texas that psycho le cemu and nami tamaki were at, funny seeing bunch of anime otakus cosplay and para para dance along. white people + weird cosplay visual kei type band = awkwardness. lol. and you could tell the news anchors were amused by white people being all crazy into anime. lol.
