my gripe is that its shown dubbed. always grinds on my nerves, dubs are less accurate in translation, u gotta mangle language/translation to get it to fit the on screen lip flappin.

but compared to other dubs, its not bad.

its definetly a fan movie, u watch it without watching the series first and you'll have no character background, it would be very bad that way. :)

I went and saw this movie yesterday and was impressed. The animation was superb and the dubbing was done well. I really loved the fighting scenes which were outstanding for a cartoon IMHO.

On another note, I've never seen the original series. I have heard of it and have wanted to buy it, but all I had to go on it was word of mouth, which can be biased at times, so I've avoided buying the series on DVD. But after watching this move, I plan on investing on the DVDs as soon as I have the extra cash.

Question to all you hardcore fans, is the animation in the series as good as it was in the series?
