Yup. It is finally here. Cowboy Bebop: The Movie (aka Cowboy Bebop: Knockin' on Heaven's Door) opens in theaters today. :D:D:D
Check your local listing for showtime. It is kind of limited like Spirited Away.

Who would have thought you can catch 2 anime movies in the US theaters at the same time?

Hehe, I know. It sucks.
Maybe if it wins an Oscar (unlikely), it will be re-release in 800 theaters (damn Disney).

I have a song 'bad dog no biscuits' on my hard drive, and it's probably because someone here recommended it. Is the other music of this series similar and as good?

I love Cowboy Beepop. Have to check if it's playing around here, but I doubt it, cause Maine sucks ;)

And about Spirited Away, anyone see Princess Mononoke? By the same driector. Incredibly freakin awesome movie! (I have the DVD :))

I just got back from seeing it here in Chicago (wave if you were there at the 7:20 showing! ;)). The movie rocked! All new songs and a great plot. Nice to see that they finally released it here in the US. Can't wait for it to come out on DVD.

If you have a chance to see this, please do! You won't regret it!

I wish they put Tank as the opening though... that would have rocked! Luckily the songs were still good.

Personally I suggest you finish that first, the movie CAN NOT touch the last episode of series imho.

man.. the last episode.. u have to watch it in a big TV with great audio to get full enjoyment out of it.

I promise you, if you see all the episodes (or at least know the story) you will NOT be dissapointed. ;)

then its time for u to watch, Kenshin OVA. the thing is.. it will be better if u know the story.. but the tv series on this one is not good at all, i dont recommand it. try comic if u can.

It should also be noted that this film is playing in both Vancouver and Toronto, despite the fact that that's not advertised on the movie's website.

Cool. I saw this movie (fan-subbed) ages ago, but it's still great to see it come out here in the US. I'll probably wait for the DVD.

On a slightly different note, it looks like the reviewer wasn't paying much attention: this sure doesn't look like the Bebop to me :p (check out the caption in the review)

Err.. the movie was boring. I've never seen Bebop before, but I couldn't get into it..

Gimme Naruto, Dragon Drive, Get Backers, or Prince of Tennis please!

The movie is supposed to be between episode 23 and 24 (or something like that.)
It is a bit hard to watch/follow the movie without knowing who the crews are and what they are capable of.

Those who have seen the whole series will probably enjoy the movie more.
