what's another similar anime that can make me laugh and cry and go crazy.

i love mindfvck movies and shows. mindfvck is good.

Full Metal Panic? Or maybe Noir. Azumanga Daioh is a great comedy also. and if you want to be depressed out of your mind I recommend Saishuu Heiki Kanojo (SaiKano).

Lain (Serial Experiments Lain), Boogiepop Phantom and Key the Metal Idol are shows that toys with your mind;every geek who use the Net should see Lain imo. All licensed though so you'll have to buy the dvd's to see it (or be even more illegal than fansubs like Naruto).

Anim&eacute;s similar to Naruto, hmm, Flame of Recca is a bit similar in it being shounen and has lots of fights and special attacks and such plus non-licensed.

I'm surprised Naruto isn't licensed yet.

Watch goldenboy...very funny, a bit lewd, but aren't we all? Vandread was good too, a bit derivative, but good. R Kenshin S1 and S2 were good, afterwards, see if you can't hunt down the manga. You'd prolly like trigun too. HnG was funny at times too.

As far as mindfvck, I've got you all beat. FLCL (pronounced furikuri) . Excel saga is a close second afterwards. WHR is worth checking out too.

BTW, where in the story is HnG at?

IIRC, the end of Vandread 2nd stage was really f'ed up. All they did was start babbling some huge BS and won.



IMO, anime was just average.
