06:30PM TOON Rurouni Kenshin "Handsome Swordsman of Legend" (new)

It will most likely be edited to fit the Toonami standard. But Kenshin on US TV nonetheless.
I have never seen the dub of Kenshin so I can't comment.

Review from AnimeOnDVD

Also, new Dragon Ball Z episodes starting today.

05:30PM TOON Dragon Ball Z "End of Earth" (new)

I saw this and I'm dreading seeing it CN. I don't know if I can survive listening to kenshin dubbed :/ And if they screw up kenshin's voice, which they probably will. Plus, how can you possibly translate kenshin's favorite phrase: "Oro"? 😛

I'll stick to my subbed RK that I have. For those of you do end up watchin RK and enjoy it, I highly suggest reading the manga as its far superior to the anime.

Hmm, perhaps I will watch it... and I thought that all the dbz episodes were out already, I have seen them all... well they are out on the net anyways.

Once you go sub you'll never go dub. 🙂

SUB SNOB 😉 I prefer dubs when I can get them, if not subs are ok, it depends on the anime, sometimes the dubs are better... other times it is the subs.

I love how the dub voice actors say... BUTT-TOE-sai, it makes me think they're secretly all Sir Mixalot fans. 😛😀

There's only a few occassions where the American voice actors were comparable to the Japanese ones. When "name" Hollywood actors did voices... even then the translation often lacks due to corporate studio BS. I knew a translator that did commercial translations and he told us a lot of stories about BS that compromised the accuracy and precision of the subs/dubs. He showed us "his" versions of Escaflowne and some Evangelion... and then I later saw the studio versions. His were always better by far.

bump!!! OMG I turned on my tv and flipping channels and

SINCE WHEN is KENSHIN on AMERICAN TV whoa!!!!

D/Led all the 90+ episode fansubs like 2-3 years ago!! so awesome!!

i cant really recommand kenshin the TV series...

however Kenshin: The remembrance (NOT X!!! X is in same class with tv series) IS one of my all time favorites with one of the BEST music scores in ANY movies.

HIGHLY recommanded!

TOMOE!!!!!!!

They totally ruined the TV series, those bastards!!! You have to get the manga to get the real story. I have all the mangas in print, all the DVDs, and all the soundtracks (i must say, absolute best soundtrack EVER!). Many of the songs are actualy used in Chinese TV series 😛 Anyone know what song they used on the comercial on toonami? Gozaru!

Ew.. dubbed Kenshin.. after seeing the subbed, I doubt I'll be able to stand this.

The TV series goes downhill after the Shishio saga.. :\

The OVAs were awesome.
