Animals, we all love them right?

Lately I've been watching these videos once or twice a week. Dogs and dog rescue stories. It's just crazy what we let happen to these animals. I bet a lot of us are dog owners on here. And our dogs are well fed and well taken care of. But a lot aren't. It really breaks your heart. And that's just in America - in other countries where dogs are viewed as pests it's even worse.

After seeing this foreign video, I donated a small amount to a local dog rescue who had a donor matching all donations up to $2,500. I know the giving season is over but maybe throw a few bucks to your local animal rescue organization. They need it. Animals are often a forgotten sideshow of our human condition. If this doesn't bring a tear to your eye and then a happy one, not sure what will:

I feel ya.

My wife runs a decent sized rescue. I give everyday whether I want to or not, lol.

Heyyyyyyyyy look. Somebody cares. That's amazing your wife runs a rescue. Does she do that plus work? I just can't fathom how you'd have time for both but I just don't know.

The rest of you are ANIMALS!

I don't particularly like dogs, but animals should be treated with care. I don't think I'll be giving to animals this season, but the money's still up for grabs. Haven't decided yet who I'm giving to yet. Kind of wanted to research Appalachian charities, but haven't made the time.
