No more stupid pets messing stuff up. And animal psychologists might actually have some work to do 😀
 
Anyone ever read "Gun, with Occasional Music?" Reminds me of that (although the animals in it were "evolved" into a conscious state instead of hybridized with humans).

The problem with genetically altered agriculture and animals, is when they get introduced into the wild group and the genetic change then becomes a permanent part of the species. We're better off with hybrids through natural selection and organic farming practices. Let mother nature and natural evolution provide us with the diversity of species we can pick from.

what will happen abou the animals that are farmed just for food. when they can communicate, they will all sue for murder, and then there will be issues of ethics and all, because they can speak etc.
 
Oh great, instead of getting spam mail saying some miracle substance can enlarge my erection, I'll now get spam mail saying that they can use this animal hybrid technology to give me a horse weiner....
