According to IGN, they said the game wasn't worth playing unless you have Xbox Live. What's your opinion on that?

I've been playing it a little since yesterday, and I have got probably about just under half way through the Undercover mode in Paris, very quick, and quite easy IMO missions. Unless of course those are only the ones I can see from first starting, and it opens up more levels later, I won't know yet! What you get to do once you have done those, other than driving around in Cruise mode, which I would guess would get a bit boring after time.

I think that the Live compatability is the best thing about it, it was the deciding factor in getting the game, as I had paid for Live, but after I couldn't get MechAssault to work (and didn't enjoy it, either), I have had my Live subscription sitting unused! 😉

They don't get semi hard until the police ones imho. The ramming the Svandinavian's car one is kind of a hair puller, I'll warn ya ahead of time, unless you figure out the secret 🙂 Let me know if you have trouble, I'd rather not spoil it

I'm extremely picky about what games to actually purchase for the XBOX. Re-playability is the #1 factor in my book, as evidenced in my only-3 game purchases since XBOX' release.

If this review and all that's included in the game is spot-on, it'll definitely be my 4th game. I will probably trade Project Gotham for it (man that game is frustrating).

rh71, my other games I've bought are Halo, PGR and TH4. Halo I got bored with, THPS i've almost completed (a few more things in each level, and a few of the skater's pro tricks), but I'm only about 50% of the way through PGR, and you're right, it sure does get hard!

Same here. I have yet to try online, but the single player mode is a blast.
