McDonald's is going to need armed security guards.

The dude should have been compensated for his heart ache.

But in all seriousness, he should have been shot. Trash like this isn't needed in our society.

I had a customer like this once. Was my second day at McDonald's.
Simply said number 1. Number 1. Waited until after I rang them up & told them price to be like what no I said I just wanted the sandwich.
...
Motherfucker. They went off about it. Got manager up there, I had to redo the order correct. Whole time they was shooting off at the mouth, until they got their food & sat the fuck down.

Manager later told me they've had a lot of problems with that person. Just to shrug it off.
Fucker came in couple days later & I just blatantly greeted him with "HELLO. HOW MAY I FUCK UP YOUR ORDER?" He went wild now, wanting to fight. Manager called the cops & had him removed from premises.
Soon as he was well out of sight, I was promptly fired. I was there for less than a week.

Shit like that is why I stay avoiding anything remotely customer service oriented.

I do not condone what he did but the girl behind the counter (at least it sounded like a girl), who kept sarcastically saying 'Bbbbyye.' did not make matters any better as she kept antagonizing him. They should of just apologized and gave him a free big mac or something.

Im one of those people.... I don't like choices and when confronted with multiple/many I look at everything... even restaurant menu's I must look at the entire menu even if I find what I want on the first page, i still flip through the rest....

this was a GIANT ASS menu over my head in 1984, you had 3 choices, burgers (big mac, quarter pounder, hamburger or a cheeseburger), chicken nuggets or a fish sandwich. Its MCDONALDS christ its not like they were hiding a T-Bone steak or magically add a peperoni pizza under the Fried apple pie item on the menu.

speaking of fried pies, when they did sell those them (apple or cherry) get one and put it in a medium cup then cover it with soft serve ice cream... oooooo DAMN! they were so good!!!

Its part of the reason I like In-n-Out because their menu is super super basic. I always stand back and am considerate and let people get in front of me though and wait until the line clears out or I know exactly what I want before approaching the register, so I don't waste anyone's time.

I don't like how mcdonalds hides its Deluxe breakfast platter for $4.00 yet shows you the delicious mcgriddle sandwiches front and center where you get one little sandwich for the same price as the entire deluxe breakfast platter which comes with ample food for same price. Very deceptive marketing scheme's!

Now they have those pies but they also added strawberry creme and smore styles to them! :-O Haven't tried the smores one but the strawberry one is pretty good!

No right to treat others like that. Also they should have given him his new Big Mac and told him to leave or they were calling the police.

"My fuckin...heart ache?!"

I was once sold a chili dog that had no hot dog in it once at a burger joint. I took it back and the lady said I must have taken the hot dog out. I said "why do I need to lie about the hot dog not being there? This thing cost $1.30?!"

Anyway, I didn't get a refund or a new hot dog. I just took one for the team and left.

You want to be mad at these people and tell them they suck and that you're always right...but just remember, they have to work at a place like McDonald's and you don't.

I've been on both sides of the situation before, both parties are wrong, but someone should be big enough to walk away or make a concession. Antagonizing the guy does nothing for the employee but escalate the situation. He would have left if you just gave him a small fry or offered to make him another Big Mac.

so they forgot the patty?

seems like a minor issue and a simple fix

Which they appeared to fix, but he "wanted some free shit."

Meh.. I could never work with people like that. I was a cashier at a small convenience store (that did NOT sell alcohol) for a few weeks as a favor to help out my sister-in-law manager while I was in college, and I hated every minute of it. I can't imagine having my personal finances tied to making a job like that work (ie: not being able to say "fuck this" and walk away without worrying about how to pay rent that month.)

That said, the workers at our local McDonald's are just.. awful. Most don't seem to speak any English, other than numbers and currency. God forbid you have to ask a question or they have to tell you something unusual ("the ice cream is out of order," or something.) And they gave me a Big Daddy moment as I waited as the second person in line to get breakfast and after 10 minutes of dealing with one customer, they flipped the sign to the lunch menu and told me "No" on the Egg McMuffin. Grrr..

So, I guess people just suck on both ends.
