I am putting an intake fan on the side panel and wondered if anyone has tested a similar setup with a side fan angled slightly to point towards the rear of the case?
It would be more trouble than I really have the time for (Pa. bar in July, ugh!), but if it would make a noticeable difference in the temps I would try to do it. It seems that it would move the inside air more than by having it blow straight back against the opposite side of the case, but it might not be enough of a difference to bother.
I was thinking about a piece of metal about 1/2" long (and the same width as the fan) bent into a U shape with square corners. I would attach one side of the fan to case and the other side to the metal, then cover the triangle shaped gaps between the fan and the case side.
Any experiences?
