Going with the GF to, what I hope to be, an amazing show. Before you flame away, please note that I absolutely hate Tom DeLonge's voice...however the music, to me, is amazing. The album has been playing nonstop for me, and I always come back to it.

And yeah, i am well aware that this will severly damage my *music reputation* here 🙁

aren't they that 'all-star' ensemble..it's like 2 guys from blink and then someone else?

I heard a few of their songs...nothing ground breaking

They seem very cocky about this album. Smug in partiuclar. All their interviews are just like them saying its all their greatest work and that they have so much experience.

There is nothing "new" about this band nor do they put any emotion into it. IMO

yeah, its a bunch of guys froma bunch of different emo bands

while it was a step in the right direction, the band still has alot to live up too. What hurts them the most is the Blink 182 tag they have hanging off. They will forever be known as the band with that guy from Blink 182. Tom just can't escape that. As for being cocky, I have seen their cockiness as more of a joke on themselves that they do purposely.

Saw them last week, pretty good. I enjoyed them. I really think it's funny the way the leader talks. His pace and tone and accent are really hillarious and unique. Anyway, I think they do sound like Blink 182 but much more mature.

Friend, I maintain that that Blink 182 guy must have sold his soul to the devil like ol' Tommy Johnson for a music career like he has. That bands works on the Coheed and Cambria principle.

I'd expect him to ask me what I want on my sandwich, not to sing on a stage.

In any case, have a grand time at the concert!

Me and my girl are going to see Taking Back Sunday next month, these guys are with them. Not really my kind of music, so we'll see how it goes.

i saw them last week at bowery ballroom in nyc. it was a great show. very fun time. hope you have a blast. and i agree with the whole smug thing...that really grates on me how they think they're the best thing since sliced bread...

One guy is from Blink-182, one is from The Offspring, one is from the Distillers, and the other is from Box Car Racer and Hazen Street. Yeah, bunch of emo bands there.
